Project Architect

Base pay range

$65,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr

BVH Architecture has engaged in the design and preservation of our built environment through the practices of architectural design, interior architecture, and planning since 1968. Our office locations in Lincoln, Omaha, and Denver are home to a multi‑disciplinary design staff bent on making the world better by designing exceptional places to live, work, learn, and play.

Ideal candidates for the project architect position are team‑oriented with exceptional design, technical, and communication skills, as well as strong graphic abilities. You will work under the guidance of a senior architect or project manager, as part of a flexible and collaborative team. As a Project Architect you will be responsible for planning, design, documentation, and coordination for large projects, and will have the opportunity to mentor and provide technical guidance to junior staff.

You will collaborate closely with clients, creating lasting relationships and projects that serve communities for years to come.

• Minimum 5 years experience in a firm
• Accredited professional degree in architecture
• A licensed architect, or working toward licensure in at least one state
• Proficiency with Revit, Microsoft Office, and 3D modeling software (Enscape, Sketch Up, etc.)
• Experience producing quality design and construction documents
• Ability to coordinate design and documents with clients and consultants
• Superior communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to attend project meetings and produce meeting notes
• Experience with construction administration duties

• Sustainability qualifications (LEED and/or WELL)
• Specification writing experience (Spec Link a plus)

The pay range for this position is competitive and based on experience, education and qualifications.
