This posting will establish and maintain a pool of Lecturers from which future appointments to temporary, non‑tenure‑track positions will be made. This posting does not necessarily reflect a current, open position. Appointments will be part‑time (< 50% FTE) and will be made semester‑by‑semester as teaching needs arise. The temporary Lecturer pool is anticipated to remain continuously active through August 2021, at which point all applications will be cleared from the pool.

The Business School at the University of Colorado Denver (CU Denver) is seeking a pool of Lecturers in Accounting from which future appointments to temporary, non‑tenure‑track positions will be made. Lecturers selected from this pool will teach classes in the Business School at the University of Colorado Denver. Classes taught will generally be limited to three credit hours. These may include lectures in all teaching modes (in‑person, hybrid, online, remote).

Compensation will range from $4,915 to $5,360 depending upon course level. The University of Colorado Denver is dedicated to ensuring a safe and secure environment for our faculty, staff, students and visitors. Background investigations are conducted for all prospective employees.

The salary range for this position has been established at $4,915 to $5,360 depending upon course level. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.

• Master's or higher degree in Accounting or closely related field.
• Recent significant professional, technical, or managerial experience in the discipline related to the teaching assignment; at a minimum, significant experience is interpreted as at least five years of duties and responsibilities.

• Prior experience teaching in Accounting.
• Professional certification/licensure in accounting or allied field, e.g., CPA, CMA, etc.
