Concurrent Enrollment & Recruitment Coordinator
Lamar Community College (LCC) is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and student-centered professional to join our team as the Concurrent Enrollment & Recruitment Coordinator. Key Responsibilities- Advise and assist high school students with the admissions and enrollment process for Concurrent Enrollment and related programs.
- Coordinate with high schools to ensure accurate enrollment and execution of concurrent enrollment contracts.
- Register students using established college systems and maintain accurate student records.
- Visit service area high schools to advise students, promote programs, and support enrollment activities.
- Partner with the marketing team to develop and implement strategies that increase awareness and participation in concurrent enrollment opportunities and post-high school enrollment.
- Represent LCC at high school visits, college fairs, and community events to promote the College and recruit prospective students.
- Maintain ongoing communication with prospective students through phone, email, text, and in-person meetings to support their journey from prospect to enrollment.
- Assist with budget management in accordance with college guidelines and fiscal procedures.
- Collect, analyze, and provide enrollment data; support billing processes for concurrent enrollment and related programs.
- Present updates and enrollment information to area superintendents; serve as a liaison to school counselors and administrators.
- Participate in state-wide concurrent enrollment and recruitment practitioner meetings to stay informed of best practices and compliance standards.
- Collaborate closely with Student Services team members to ensure efficient and supportive service delivery to schools and students.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with high school students, parents, school staff, and community stakeholders.
- Provide required enrollment reports, including the October count report for ACSENT students.
- Distribute unofficial transcripts to high schools for students enrolled in ACSENT or other concurrent enrollment programs.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support departmental and institutional goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in education or an education-related discipline area
- Previous teaching and/or administrative experience
- Demonstrated experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to initiate, implement, and follow up on projects, including the ability to set specific objectives and measure achieved results
- Ability to maintain and foster complex relationships with both school and university partners
- Capability to travel and work flexible hours
- Knowledge of students served at community colleges
- Demonstrated ability to work well with others in developing academic programs that focus on student learning and promote student post-secondary participation and success
- Ability to assist and guide students having a great range of skills, motivation, and academic or vocational goals
- Ability and willingness to maintain currency in teacher education issues, including state regulations and articulation agreements
- Effective oral and written communication
- Working knowledge of Banner
$42,000.00–$45,000.00. LCC offers comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, and tuition reimbursement benefit plans. Generous annual leave, sick and holiday benefits are also included.
