About This JobSupport teachers by providing curriculum-based English Language Acquisition educational support to students in designated subject areas. Communicate and coordinate with students and parents (oral and written) about routine issues in their native language.

- Salary Range:
Starting at $22.00 per hour for new hires; internal candidates may earn up to $26.29 per hour. More details on compensation can be found here. - Additional benefits include paid time off, health and wellness benefits, and PERA retirement.
- Provide computer-based reading and writing instruction for students scoring below established levels on standardized assessments.
- Coordinate instructional efforts with teachers and support staff; assist in developing lesson plans.
- Supervise and monitor students at assigned sites, reinforcing positive behaviors and policies.
- Assist in assessing students’ reading and writing abilities.
- Refer to the paraprofessional qualifications guide for acceptable qualifications.
- ELA general assignment paras for Spanish only must pass a proficiency exam hosted by Berlitz, covering speaking and reading. More info is available here.

- Reside in Colorado with the ability to meet the physical demands of the role, with or without accommodations.
