Global Leadership Academy is a 9-12 Internationally focused school on the Broadway Campus. Students receive daily rigorous instruction, with access to AP classes, a Design Studio, and concurrent enrollment. Students also have the opportunity to participate in GLA’s Business Management Pathway. This pathway will give students opportunities to cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset and develop skills to build and manage their own businesses.

With a focus on building project management and leadership skills, students will engage in digital marketing, customer relationship management, sales, and small business management projects. All students are valued as leaders and are empowered to use their voices to improve their school community through restorative justice practices and partnerships with GIA and GPA as mentors.

• Colorado teaching license with an appropriate Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education endorsement required.
  * Or willingness to pursue endorsement or equivalent coursework.
• Background in bilingual education and/or language acquisition preferred.

The Multilingual Learner (ML) teacher will collaborate with classroom teachers to provide language instruction for students. The ML teacher will collaborate with classroom teachers to provide English Language Development (ELD) services for identified students. This may take many forms, including co-planning and co-teaching, push-in small groups, and pull-out small groups. The ML teacher will model best practices for language acquisition.

• Commitment to inclusive practices for language learners.
• Design and deliver instructional plans based on the Colorado Academic Standards that are purposeful, engaging, and meet the differentiated needs of all students. Use district-adopted curricular resources. Conduct formative assessments that guide instruction.
