The Department of Theatre and Dance at Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU Denver) invites applications for part-time affiliate faculty teaching positions. This listing is for potential future affiliate faculty needs for our Theatre Technology and Design Program.

MSU Denver enrolls over 16,000 students, with a diverse student body including nearly 60% first-generation students and over 55% students of color. Teaching courses in Theatre Technology and Design, primarily in-person, including:

• Delivering course content and preparing materials
• Grading and providing feedback on student work
• Addressing student questions and providing academic support
• Maintaining office hours
• Adapting to various modes of instruction

Candidates should be sensitive to the educational needs of a diverse student population.

Required: Bachelor of Arts in Theatre or related field + 6 years relevant experience, OR Bachelor of Fine Arts + 4 years relevant experience.

Preferred: MFA in Theatre or related field + 2 years relevant experience, OR MA + 3 years, OR Doctorate + 2 years.

Part-time, at-will, teaching on a per-credit basis, usually semester-to-semester. Not eligible for university benefits. In-person teaching required upon hire.
