About MSU Denver

MSU Denver enrolls over 16,000 students, with nearly 60% being first-generation and over 55% students of color. Located in downtown Denver, it is a designated Hispanic Serving Institution, an INSIGHT into Diversity HEED Award winner for 10 consecutive years, and the only Seal of Excelencia certified institution in Colorado. Responsibilities
  • Teach up to 9 credit hours per semester in areas such as assessment, classroom management, math methods, reading methods, IEP development, emotional and behavioral disabilities, transition, and disabilities severity levels.
  • Availability to supervise clinical experiences during school hours for relevant courses.
  • Provide consultation and support to students before and after classes.
  • Deliver course content in person, online, or hybrid formats, and maintain office hours.
  • Prepare course materials, grade assignments, and provide timely feedback.
  • Adhere to university policies on instruction evaluation and peer observations.
  • Qualifications
    • Required:

      Master's degree.
    • Preferred:
      Doctoral degree or ABD status.
    Terms of Employment

    Part-time, at-will, teaching on a per-credit basis each semester. No benefits are provided. Teaching is contingent on budget and enrollment. Candidates must be prepared to teach in person upon hire.
