- Information Systems – University of Colorado Denver
Faculty:
Business School. This posting establishes and maintains a pool of Lecturers from which future appointments to temporary, non-tenure-track positions will be made. Appointments are part-time (less than 50% FTE) and made semester-by-semester as teaching needs arise. This pool is anticipated to remain continuously active through August 2021, after which applications will be cleared. Applicants may apply to future pools.
- Deliver and tailor instruction to a variety of language and cultural backgrounds in accordance with prescribed curricular objectives and outcomes.
- Prepare for each class with balanced, rigorous lesson plans.
- Assess student progress according to curricular objectives and outcomes.
- Adhere to program policies and procedures by reporting student offenses (plagiarism, cheating, absences, etc.).
Salary range established at $4,915 to $5,360 per month depending on course level. Final salary will reflect internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. The University offers a full benefits package; information available through Employee Services.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications: Master’s or higher degree in Information Systems or closely related field. Recent significant professional, technical, or managerial experience in the discipline related to the teaching assignment; at minimum, significant experience is interpreted as at least five years of duties and responsibilities. Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience teaching in Information Systems, Data Science or Computer Science.
