Job DescriptionBoys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver is offering an exciting opportunity for the right person. Are you a passionate individual that loves to work with youth? Do you want to influence the everyday life of Club members through programs in our three pillars of Academic and Careers, Character and Leadership, and Healthy Lifestyles? Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver is a place for Club member to learn, grow, and have fun!
We are looking for engaging individuals who are dedicated to working with at‑risk youth throughout Program Year .
Volunteers for the Boys & Girls Clubs arean engaging, high-energy, self-starters witha passion for working with kids! The Clubs are fun, active environments with lots of different activities taking place at anygiven time.
Successful volunteers are those that are consistent, reliable, andable to jump in and help with whatever activity is taking place with minimal direction.
This volunteer position will support a variety of activities andtargetedprogramsfocused on Academic Support. We are seeking volunteers who are:
Artists, STEM Experts, Tutors, and Reading Helpers.
- Must commit to volunteer service for a minimum of 2-4 continuous months (or a full semester for college students)
Volunteers with BGCMD are required to attend a virtual orientation in which they will get an overview of BGCMD policies and procedures before they can be present in the club. Volunteers must also complete child abuse prevention training, and SOP.
