Local Coordinators
Change the lives of students and families in your city by connecting them with international students.
Your Dream Summer Job
Bring international students to your area by becoming a Local Coordinator and facilitating a short immersion experience for a number of students coming at the same time.
Local Coordinators place and supervise international students in the United States with families that have a child the same age and gender as them as well as similar interests. During the program, Local Coordinators supervise the students and organize activities for them and their families in their own community. This is a great way to make a summer income while bringing culture to your area!

FAQ'sWill my student need a passport? All participants need to have a passport in order to travel internationally. Once at the destination, the Group Leader will collect all students' passports and keep them secured for the duration of the trip.
If your child does not currently have a passport, be sure to apply several months before the tour departs. For U.S. citizens, the passport needs to be valid for at least six months after returning home and have at least two blank pages. Non-U.S. citizens need to carry a non-expired passport and a multi-entry visa. Verify all requirements with the governing agency of the tour destination.
For all passport information, including how to apply, please visit the U.S. Department of State website (passports.state.gov) or the governing agency of your home country.
Will I be able to contact my child while they are traveling? Students will have Wi-Fi connection at hotels and if their trip includes a homestay, in their host family's home and can communicate with their families via Skype, Whats App, iMessage, Face Time, etc. Your phone carrier may provide the option for international data, so make sure to contact them prior to departure.
