We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Senior Mechanical Engineer for the Greenwood Village, Colorado office.
As part of our team, you will have the chance to work on projects that bring innovative solutions to our municipal clients’ water and wastewater challenges locally and worldwide.
- Design water and wastewater pump stations, treatment facilities/processes for water and wastewater plants, and conveyance systems.
- Prepare technical writing, construction drawings, and technical specifications.
- Apply experience to design pump stations for water and wastewater, perform pipe sizing calculations, select pumps, and design process facilities (primary, secondary, tertiary, and solids treatment systems).
- Design rotating equipment (centrifugal pumps, blowers), piping systems, valves, and appurtenances for in-plant process piping and chemical systems.
- Conduct hydraulic studies and support related process and plant piping system design.
- Lead projects and collaborate with team members to deliver compliant and constructible solutions.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 14+ years of experience in water/wastewater process mechanical engineering for municipal clients.
- Lead Engineer experience.
- Experience developing construction documents and technical specifications.
- Process mechanical detailed design experience for water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and conveyance systems.
- Experience with water/wastewater equipment for municipal clients and design implementation of rotating equipment.
- Hydraulic modeling for pressurized and open channel systems.
- Experience in plant piping system design for water and wastewater systems.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and CAD staff.
- Professional Engineer (P.E) License.
- Experience with Design-Build, CMAR/CM-GC and/or EPC projects.
- Construction support services for water and wastewater projects.
- Experience in developing project level of effort for the process mechanical design of water and wastewater systems.

The base salary range for this position is $ to $. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
