Water/Wastewater Conveyance EIT/Coordinator - ( 183769 )
Primary Responsibilities- Create detailed designs of water and wastewater pumping systems, pressurized pipelines and gravity pipelines under instruction from the Project Engineer and Project Manager
- Prepare plans for pipelines and pumping stations, write specifications, analysis and study-level reports for water and wastewater distribution and collection systems, determine appropriate design methods, equipment sizing and selection, and work collaboratively with the owner design team members
- Assist with Construction Administration including shop drawing reviews and field inspections
- Perform other duties as needed
- Collaborative design development is key to our continued success. As such, applicants should expect to be in the office at least four days per week.
- Candidates without their EIT will be placed into a Design Coordinator job code and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression
- Interest and experience designing water/wastewater pumping and conveyance systems
- Proficiency in technical report writing
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Experience with hydraulic calculations for pump and/or pipeline sizing
- Experience with AutoCAD, Google Earth, and/or ArcGIS
- Experience with GIS
- Ability to demonstrate adept writing skills
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field
- Interest or experience designing water/wastewater treatment facilities
- AutoCAD and/or Micro Station experience
- Must be able to work in a team environment
