  • Tooling, Fixtures & Automation: Coordinate with tooling and automation teams regarding facilities requirements, installation logistics, and factory verification. Identify opportunities for automation and advanced manufacturing technologies to improve safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Quality & Yield Improvement: Support definition and integration of quality checkpoints, inspection methods, and test equipment. Perform FPY analysis, support pilot runs, and drive corrective actions to achieve ≥95% yield through ATP during validation builds.
  • Material Flow & Handling: Design and improve material handling processes to minimize touchpoints and prevent damage. Define standard WIP, kanban loops, material presentation methods, and internal inventory buffers to support uninterrupted production.
  • Process Documentation & MES Support: Oversee creation of work instruction documentation, standard work, and routing implementation. Support routing updates and integration of work instructions into MES and related digital manufacturing systems.
  • Pilot Runs, Validation & Training Support: Support physical line installation, pilot builds, and final validations. Assist with operator training, LRIP readiness, and initial go‑live activities to stabilize production.
