Job Description About the RoleProcess Utilities Engineers focus on the design of critical utility equipment and distribution (or collection) systems along with the facility infrastructure required to support the manufacturing operations. Typical tasks include the execution of engineering calculations including heat transfer and hydraulic pressure drop calculations. The Entry-Level Process Utilities Engineer is responsible for supporting the documentation of the design scope in coordination with other disciplines.
The Entry-Level Process Utilities Engineer may support field installation teams and execute construction site observations. This role is expected to work closely with other architects, engineers and designers, as well as other internal and external team members to ensure a coordinated, constructible and complete design.

Minimum Qualifications
- ABET-accredited Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical or bioprocess engineering
- 0 to 3 years of experience, preferably in a design firm setting
- Fundamentals of Engineering exam registration or completion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Fundamental experience with performing engineering calculations for fluid mechanics and heat transfer, developing and implementing systems designs
- Fundamental experience with chemistry
- Fundamental experience with process modeling, material and energy balances and basic sizing calculations
- Proficiency in 2D / 3D design platforms (AutoCAD, Revit, Solidworks, etc.)
