We’re looking for a skilled CAD Technician who thrives in a collaborative environment and is excited to contribute to the design and construction of vital transportation structures—bridges, tunnels, retaining walls, and more. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers, using cutting-edge tools and software to turn concepts into reality.

What You’ll Do

• Produce detailed CAD drawings, layouts, and graphics for a variety of transportation structures including reinforced concrete, pre-stressed concrete, and steel designs.
• Translate engineering markups into polished construction documents, maintaining precision and consistency.
• Use state-of-the-art software such as AutoCAD, Micro Station, and Open Roads Designer.
• Support design tasks under the direction of licensed engineers using industry standards such as AASHTO.
• Maintain structured drawing files, adhere to company drafting standards, and support project-specific standards as needed.
• Collaborate through file-sharing systems like Project Wise and participate in quality assurance reviews.
• Track quantities, update contract drawings, and contribute to project success within scope, budget, and schedule.

What You Bring

• 2+ years of drafting experience with a focus on bridge or structural engineering projects.
• Associate of Applied Science in Civil Drafting, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field.
• Proficiency in Micro Station/Open Roads and/or AutoCAD/Civil 3D.

Bonus Points For

• Experience with transportation projects and/or Colorado Department of Transportation and City and County of Denver projects.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for precision.
