Job Description
Own the end-to-end power and energy architecture and strategy for hyperscale AI data centers, spanning utility interconnection, on-site generation, battery energy storage systems (BESS), resiliency, and the long-term technology roadmap.
Serve as the technical authority and executive advisor for multi‑hundred‑megawatt to gigawatt‑scale power systems supporting AI infrastructure. Translate rapidly evolving compute requirements into executable, cost‑optimized, and resilient power strategies while driving standardization, capital efficiency, and risk reduction across a global portfolio.
Responsibilities- Lead due diligence, pilots, and adoption of emerging technologies in Power Generation, with investment‑grade technical and financial justification.
- Define the global reference architecture and standards for grid‑connected and hybrid BTM generation models supporting large‑scale data centers.
- Own system‑level trade studies across reliability, transient behavior, fault response, black‑start capability, and expansion phasing.
- Set the long‑term architectural strategy and standardization approach for data center power generation plants.
- Establish performance benchmarks, reliability targets, and analytics frameworks to continuously improve plant efficiency and uptime.
US salary range: $120,100 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
