About Us
Eye to Eye is a small but stable venture-backed medical technology startup developing FDA Class II electro-mechanical devices with elements of software to help clinicians and their patients manage glaucoma. We’re well on our way to market with our first release and beginning to plan the next generation of products in our platform ecosystem.
Why Join E2EAt a four-person startup, every hire changes the trajectory. Your work will touch thousands of patients, and your fingerprints will be on the product for years to come. You won’t be a cog in a giant org chart, you’ll own critical systems from day one, seeing them through to production. You’ll work on real-time embedded systems, micro-molded and actuating components, patient-facing interfaces, and integrate original PCB designs, cellular connectivity, low-noise signal processing and more as we grow.
We hire only high performers who thrive in lean environments, take ownership, and solve problems with rigor. If you’re looking for a place where your decisions shape the product, culture, and company, this is it.
No fixed office schedule: use the space when you need lab/bench time or collaboration. Hours aren’t a hard 9–5, results and impact matter. The needs for each role will likely change over time and phases of the project.
The RoleWe are looking to hire multiple engineering lead roles spanning mechanical, electrical, and firmware/systems level software. In each of these roles, you will work on important systems from day one and see your contributions make an impact across the globe.
Preferred Experience:You might be electrical, software or somewhere in between.
- EE: Mixed-signal PCB layout, board bring-up/debug, EMC/EMI mitigation, IEC 60601 experience or driver implementation.
- Firmware: Bare-metal or RTOS (FreeRTOS), timing-critical I/O, C/C++, IEC 62304 experience, unit/integration testing, bootloaders, or Wi‑Fi/cellular communication protocols.
- We’re not prescriptive about background. What matters is that you can push the project forward with rigor and curiosity and that you've demonstrated excellence in some context.
- EE: Designed and brought up boards for safety-critical systems, and can deliver tested, production-ready hardware with minimal oversight.
- Firmware/Embedded System:Shipped a large‑scale embedded system where key properties were specified and enforced via tests and instrumentation, yielding stable field deployments.
