Responsibilities- Develop tools to design, build, deploy and support our state‑of‑the‑art simulation infrastructure
- Develop and integrate multidisciplinary models for a multi‑vehicle simulation using Simulink and C/C++
- Collaboratively deliver simulations to our customers to inform decisions and ensure requirements are met
- Interact with engineers across disciplines to assist with and ensure validation of models
- BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or Computer Science
- 5+ years of software development and debugging skills, particularly in C/C++, MATLAB, and Simulink
- Experience auto coding Simulink to C++
- Strong fundamentals in rigid body dynamics, fluid mechanics, and first‑principles physics‑based mathematical models
- Hands‑on experience with testing frameworks and Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines such as Gitlab
- Experience with configuration management
- MS or higher degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering
- Strong debugging skills at the software/hardware boundary, and familiarity with software verification approaches
- Experience developing software for hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HIL) testing
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with verification and validation of aerospace simulations and models
- Experience developing and maintaining simulation models including plant physics, sensors, and actuators
- Familiarity with DO‑178, DO‑160, and DO‑254 or similar guidelines
