Responsibilities

• Develop tools to design, build, deploy and support our state‑of‑the‑art simulation infrastructure
• Develop and integrate multidisciplinary models for a multi‑vehicle simulation using Simulink and C/C++
• Collaboratively deliver simulations to our customers to inform decisions and ensure requirements are met
• Interact with engineers across disciplines to assist with and ensure validation of models

Minimum Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or Computer Science
• 5+ years of software development and debugging skills, particularly in C/C++, MATLAB, and Simulink
• Experience auto coding Simulink to C++
• Strong fundamentals in rigid body dynamics, fluid mechanics, and first‑principles physics‑based mathematical models
• Hands‑on experience with testing frameworks and Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines such as Gitlab
• Experience with configuration management

Preferred Qualifications

• MS or higher degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering
• Strong debugging skills at the software/hardware boundary, and familiarity with software verification approaches
• Experience developing software for hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HIL) testing
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with verification and validation of aerospace simulations and models
• Experience developing and maintaining simulation models including plant physics, sensors, and actuators
• Familiarity with DO‑178, DO‑160, and DO‑254 or similar guidelines

Compensation Range

• Required for Certain Job Profiles:
  Drivers who operate Commercial Motor Vehicles may be subject to additional Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including Driver Qualification Files, Medical Certification, and CDL requirements
• Required for certain Job Profiles:
  Ability to obtain and maintain a Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre‑employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
