The Company: Auction & Event Solutions is a service provider to the non-profit community. AES conducts and manages auction fundraising events in conjunction with non-profit organizations. AES provides touch screen technology solutions for silent and live auction fundraisers as well as performs event night management of tasks such as patron check in, check out, financial reconciliation and other event night/day related tasks.

General Summary of Duties: AES is looking for individuals to work mostly Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays (and some occasional other weekdays) from approximately 2:00pm until midnight installing temporary networks in local hotels and other venues to support computerized auction fundraising for our clients. Candidates must be at least 21 years old, have a valid state driver’s license for assisting in transporting equipment to and from events.

Technical Supervisors will be setting up hot spots and routers to access hardline internet or 4G/5G connectivity, managing tablets that will be connected via Wifi or 4G connectivity, setting up PC laptops and printers with minimal networking (if any). The Technical Supervisor will then monitor the environment in the evening (with on call tech support available for issues), assist with checking event guests in and out of the event and finally tearing down that same infrastructure that night.

Candidates should be in good physical condition and be able to lift up to 40 pounds. Ideal candidates must be good with the customer relations.

Job Qualification

Successful candidates will have a high school education minimally and trade school or college is preferred. Person must be polite and people friendly and will be required to work closely with executive level clients. Project management and supervisory skills a plus. AES will provide paid on the job training to successful candidates.
