Accounts Payable Coordinator

A leading organization in the mining sector is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Analyst to join its finance team. This role will focus heavily on vendor management, invoice processing, and reporting to ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency. Proficiency with SAP is required, as the AP Analyst will be working in a complex ERP environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end accounts payable process, including timely and accurate invoice entry, coding, and approvals
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and resolve inquiries, disputes, or discrepancies promptly
• Monitor open payables, aged invoices, and payment schedules to support cash flow management
• Generate and analyze AP reports, including aging reports, accruals, and month-end metrics
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and accounting procedures
• Support internal and external audit processes related to AP
• Collaborate with procurement, operations, and finance teams to ensure smooth invoice lifecycle

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, preferably in a large corporate or industrial setting
• Required:
  Strong working knowledge of SAP
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
• Excellent communication skills for managing vendor relationships and internal stakeholders
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and compliance
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
