Senior Vice President, Commercial Banking - Innovation/Tech ABL

• Identify a target market for new business and develop a book of new business from those relationships.
• Negotiate, underwriting, and coordinate the closing of a variety of major and complex loans in compliance with the Bank b s lending policies and procedures; develop business checking and deposit relationships with customers.
• Assist clients with deposit related products and services; gather and analyze client information to recommend appropriate deposit product solutions.
• Ideal candidate will have an interest in working with venture-backed technology companies.
• Compile and analyze market research data to develop recommendations regarding products and services for the target market.
• Engage in business development activities and solicitation of new business based on the target market.
• Collaborate with treasury partner to ensure seamless client experiences.
• Call and visit target customers to promote and sell Bank products and services to establish a new book of business.
• Develop and maintain customer data base including calls and results on all new business relationships; make reports to superiors as required.
• Interview prospective applicants and gather specified information related to loan or credit applications; resolve questions regarding application information.
• Perform basic pre-qualification assessment and analysis of financial condition and risk of financing requests within the Bank b s credit culture and current trends.
• Gather information to present a financing request to senior management or Loan Committee; meet with new/potential customers; visit loan sites; negotiate loan terms and conditions; refer and recommend acceptance to the Chief Credit Officer or Loan Committee.
• Coordinate processing of approved loans; ensure loans are processed per agreement, customer needs and Bank policies; obtain documentation; resolve processing and servicing issues within the Relationship Manager s portfolio.
• Maintain knowledge of financial industry status and trends.
• Recommend to senior management products and services with less than satisfactory performance.
• Represent the Bank in community and civic functions to enhance the Bank s image and develop additional business; assist in establishing market position.

• 8+ years of related experience.
• Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience.
• Advanced knowledge of banking operations (deposits, loans, treasury management) and commercial banking products/services.
• Advanced knowledge of regulatory and legal compliance obligations and industry standards.
• Advanced knowledge in relationship management.
• Advanced organizational and time management skills.
• Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
• Up to 50% travel may be required.

Salary ranges vary by location. For Denver, CO, the range is generally $ - $ for new hires. The role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives and restricted stock. Salary amount is determined by specific job location.
