EY serves high-profile, national and multinational clients, providing a range of domestic and international transactional tax planning services and tax-related advisory services. The TARAS practice supports financial reporting for income taxes including tax accounting, tax provision procedures, and controls design and testing.
- Provide clients with tax guidance and consulting related to tax accounting and planning (internal restructurings, acquisitions, dispositions, carve-out financial statements, GAAP conversions from US GAAP to IFRS or IFRS to US GAAP, share based compensation, financial statement restatements and balance sheet remediation of tax accounts).
- Assist companies with all aspects of their preparation of the tax provision.
- Review the tax provision process to improve efficiency and accuracy and enhance the control environment; assess tax risk and control environments inclusive of and beyond Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404.
- Real estate experience is a plus; support process and controls enhancement; identify, prioritize, monitor and remediate key risks.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, with significant tax or legal experience; MST, MAcc, or JD/LLM preferred
- Valid US CPA license or active state bar membership
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in professional services, tax organization, law firm, or IRS
- Broad understanding and experience with federal income taxation
- Strong analytical, written and verbal communication, interpersonal, problem-solving skills and attention to detail
ASC 740, Real Estate, and/or IAS 12 experience; experience in corporate tax planning and compliance; relevant tax experience or equivalent in business or industry with broad exposure to federal income taxation.

- The salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $90/hr to $120/hr salaries are determined based on education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
