Tax Manager

Tax Manager – Denver, Colorado | Full-Time | Active CPA required

The Tax Manager will oversee complex tax compliance and planning for a diverse client base. The role involves reviewing returns, leading projects, serving as a trusted advisor to clients, and mentoring junior staff. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail‑oriented, and confident managing multiple engagements at once.

• Lead federal, state, and local tax compliance for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
• Review complex returns for accuracy and compliance
• Provide strategic tax planning and consulting services
• Manage, develop, and review work of staff and senior‑level team members
• Conduct tax research and stay current on regulatory changes
• Support clients during IRS/state audits and correspondence
• Strengthen client relationships through strong communication and service

• Active CPA license required (Colorado or reciprocity eligible)
• 5+ years of tax experience in public accounting or similar environment
• Strong knowledge of federal and Colorado tax laws
• Proven experience managing complex returns and client engagements
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Proficiency with major tax software and Microsoft Excel

• Multi‑state tax exposure
