Our Mortgage Banking Training full‑time, paid program prepares candidates for a full‑time Loan Processor position.

What is the Mortgage Banking Training Program?

Consists of a combination of online classroom learning, mentorship, and job shadowing. Learn about the mortgage application process, loan products, investor guidelines, and regulations. Instructors guide mortgage systems and applications training.

Loan Processor

Job Summary

Primarily responsible for processing, underwriting, and closing residential mortgages.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Process and prepare purchase mortgage loans (FHA, VA, Conventional, USDA)
• Verify accuracy and adherence to investor guidelines of all documents required for a complete submission to Underwriting
• Provide consistent communication on loan status to customers to ensure a smooth mortgage transaction
• Maintain quality work in a fast‑paced environment
• Multi‑task using multiple computer screens and software programs
• Apply critical thinking and problem‑solving skills to process loans
• Cultivate relationships with peers and serve as a peer mentor
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements for Trainee Program Applicants

• At least 1 year of experience in a customer service role, including military, internships, or school leadership positions
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Dedicated workspace in a distraction‑free environment and reliable internet connection for remote work
• Ability to multi‑task and strong attention to detail
• Bilingual Spanish skills highly preferred

Compensation and Benefits

Starting hourly pay of $24.04, with eligibility for monthly incentives upon successful completion of required training and based on defined performance objectives. Up to 9 paid company holidays per year; eligible for up to 6 sick days and accruing PTO days (up to 17 per year, up to 22 after 10+ years of service). 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, parental leave, voluntary coverage options, Employee Assistance Program, tuition reimbursement, and statutory benefits (paid family and medical leave, paid sick time) as applicable.

Work

Arrangement and Schedule

Hybrid: both in office and remote. Core business hours 7 am—6 pm MST. Training schedule 8 am—5 pm MST. Overtime may be required during busy times. At hire, must reside in Colorado.
