Who We're Looking For

You’re a detail-oriented credit professional who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You bring structure to client relationships through disciplined underwriting, portfolio management, and proactive servicing. Whether supporting new loan requests or maintaining compliance within existing relationships, you take ownership of process and performance.

You collaborate well with Relationship Bankers, respond quickly to client needs, and bring a high level of accountability to your work. If you balance independence with teamwork, and bring precision to credit and servicing functions—this role is for you.

About the Role

The Credit Analyst supports the Profit Center (PC) by identifying key revenue-generating opportunities across loans, deposits, and investment assets. This role is primarily responsible for underwriting new loan requests, managing renewals, and maintaining portfolio compliance—ensuring strong credit performance and client retention.

Key responsibilities include analyzing less complex loan relationships, managing file exceptions, tracking past dues and covenants, and supporting the loan process from application through onboarding. The role also includes client outreach, annual reviews, and collaboration with Relationship Bankers to identify new opportunities and support delivery of financial solutions.

Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, process discipline, and the ability to manage a variety of credit and service-related tasks with accuracy and urgency.

What You'll Do
  • Underwrite and analyze consumer and less complex commercial loan requests in support of Relationship Bankers.
  • Manage loan portfolio compliance, including file exceptions, past dues, maturing loans, covenant tracking, and documentation.
  • Coordinate all stages of credit processing—from client outreach and document collection through application, approval, closing, and onboarding.
  • Facilitate renewals, modifications, and annual reviews to maintain relationship quality and prevent asset attrition.
  • Identify lending opportunities within existing client relationships and introduce additional bank products to meet client needs.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, ensuring adherence across all credit functions.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in lending, credit administration, and/or banking.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with exceptional Excel skills.
  • Experience using banking and credit software.
  • Experience with CRM systems.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks.
  • High initiative and follow-through.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills.
  • NMLS registration upon hire.
What We Offer
  • Competitive base salary: $30.29 - $43.27/HR, plus strong bonus potential.
  • 401(k) plan with employer match.
  • Paid parking and transportation benefits.
  • Comprehensive health and wellness benefits, including health savings accounts (HSA), flexible spending accounts (FSA), medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Generous paid time off and bank holidays.
  • Access to training and professional development programs.
  • Sponsorship and support for obtaining professional certifications.
  • A culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and shared success.
