The Corporate Financial Analyst is a full-time, year-round role reporting to the Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis and working closely with the Sr. Director of Financial Planning & Analysis. The key mandate of this role is to provide fact-based, analytical decision support, reporting and insights at the enterprise level. This is a hybrid position based in Denver, CO, with an expectation of being in the office three days per week.
The salary range for this role is $70,000 to $80,000 per year. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly. * Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results, identifying trends, variances, and key drivers, and communicating findings effectively
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, analyzing variances against budget, forecast and historical trends and insights on forward-looking forecast updates
* Responsible for developing financial models, preparing insightful reports, and providing strategic recommendations to senior management to support key business decisions
* Work closely with various teams across the organization to gather financial and operational information and ensure accuracy and completeness of forecasts and budgets
* Support the annual budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to develop realistic financial targets
* Assist in the preparation of board materials and executive presentations
* In partnership with key stakeholders, maintain & update long-range forecast models
* Identify opportunities for process improvements within the finance function
* Monitor key financial metrics and KPIs, reporting on performance against goals
* Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data and reporting
* Stay current with accounting standards and financial best practices
* Support internal and external financial controls & audit processes
* Ensure accuracy and timeliness of reporting in financial systems
** REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
*** Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience or certification related to finance, accounting, or data sciences with a minimum of 2 years’ experience
* Strong command of Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, financial modeling) and experience using Solver, or other analytical and reporting systems
* Advanced PowerPoint skills with experience creating clear, compelling, and executive-ready presentations, including materials for senior leadership and board-level audiences
* Experience working in a finance decision-support capacity
