A fast-growing, private equity–backed SaaS company is seeking a Controller to lead and scale its accounting function. This is a highly visible role that partners closely with executive leadership to strengthen financial operations, enhance reporting, and support continued growth.

This position is ideal for a hands‑on accounting leader who enjoys building structure, improving processes, and driving clarity across the full order‑to‑pay lifecycle in a dynamic, growth‑oriented environment.

• Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and financial reporting
• Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Manage revenue recognition and deferred revenue in compliance with ASC 606
• Lead month‑end and year‑end close processes and maintain strong internal controls
• Own and optimize the order‑to‑pay process, ensuring accurate, timely, and controlled workflows from procurement through payment
• Drive process improvements and automation across accounting and finance operations
• Manage cash flow planning, working capital, and liquidity
• Support audit activities and maintain relationships with external auditors and tax partners
• Partner with leadership on financial planning, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
• Lead, mentor, and develop a small accounting team

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA or CMA certification required
• Experience in a SaaS or subscription‑based environment required
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibility
• Strong understanding of GAAP, ASC 606, internal controls, and end‑to‑end order‑to‑pay processes
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems (Net Suite strongly preferred)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, scaling environment
