Senior Project Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Project Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $110,000 to $125,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:

• Manage project budgets and cost tracking within the ERP system
• Perform PoC accounting and WIP analysis to support revenue recognition
• Oversee subcontractor payments and lien release documentation
• Handle accounts receivable, billing, and collections
• Generate financial reports including cost-to-complete, margin variance, and trend analysis

Requirements:

• Collaborate across departments to resolve financial variances and improve processes
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in financial documentation
• Perform additional duties as needed to support financial operations
• Support month-end close activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals
• Assist with project closeouts and final cost validation

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 5+ years of experience in construction or project accounting
• Show strong background in PoC accounting and WIP reporting
• Support month-end close and general ledger activities effectively
• Demonstrate advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems (IFS preferred)
