Manager, Finance - Western Union

Right now, we are seeking a Manager - Corporate Finance , based at our Global Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, to work with our experienced corporate finance team.

In this role you will manage key Corporate Finance functions and serve as liaison with other CFO organizations including other Finance teams, Accounting, Tax, Treasury and M&A. Does this interest you?

Here are the responsibilities:

• Manages the forecast of financial statements (Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement/details, Balance Sheet, tax detail) and leads analysis of actual results
• Leads calculation, tracking and review of actual and forecasted currency impacts
• Supports Treasury and M&A teams by providing scenario modeling, analysis and reporting
• Leads company-wide close and estimate process
• Manages finance monthly close processes, including analyzing and summarizing results, preparing flash and close reports, and consolidating variance analyses in accordance with key SOX processes
• Understands and clearly articulates complex business issues
• Partners effectively cross-functionally to build consensus and deliver on multiple priorities simultaneously
• Supports other Corporate Finance processes, including quarter-end reporting, earnings release, planning and forecast cycle, Corporate finance communication, among other
• Performs other ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed

What will make you stand out:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Math or related field, heavily preferred
• MBA and/or Certified Financial Analyst or progress towards
• 5+ years’ experience in financial reporting, financial modeling and analysis
• Experience with financial reporting tools; advanced excel; experience with Hyperion Essbase a plus
• Experience with database management tools like SQL, MS Access
• Proven experience leading projects, presenting and communicating with finance team and leadership
