Job Description

We are hiring a challenge-seeking Accountant who enjoys solving problems and takes pride in discovering the right solutions. A team player who enjoys working alongside their colleagues in a fast-paced environment where the time flies because every day is a busy one . Sound like you?

Where You Will Work

Our corporate office is located in the Denver Tech Center . Our office spans the top two floors of the building and features expansive views of the mountains and the downtown skyline.

AIR values relationships and the benefits from working side by side with teammates, therefore this position will be in-office 5 days a week to support operations.

What You Will Do
  • Own the end-to-end accounting and reporting processes for your assigned joint venture entities.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly financial reporting, quarterly reporting packages, and annual financial statements for joint venture arrangements.
  • Manage and execute joint venture distributions, including calculation, recording, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare and record journal entries as part of the month-end close process for both joint ventures and corporate accounting activities.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual balance sheet reconciliations and investigate and resolve variances.
  • Prepare variance analyses and financial commentary to support management review.
  • Record miscellaneous corporate journal entries and support ad hoc accounting projects as needed.
  • Develop and maintain close calendars and monthly project plans to ensure timely and accurate financial close.
  • Maintain schedules for prepaid expenses, accrued liabilities, and fixed and intangible assets, including depreciation and amortization where applicable.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to gather information, improve processes, and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Prepare, review, and distribute financial reports for management.
  • This position is an in-office role requiring regular on-site presence.

Qualifications

What You Will Bring :

  • Experience conducting actual to budget / forecast analysis.
  • Experience with monthly, quarterly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Experience recording monthly journal entries, accruals, reclasses, etc.
  • Experience with debt reconciliation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred.
  • 1-2+two years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient financial system skills with an emphasis on Excel, Smart View
  • Workday Financials experience a plus.
  • Superb attention to detail.
  • Nimble problem solver who enjoys complex challenges.
  • Demonstrates quality customer service, teamwork, and cultural fit.
