Financial Manager, Financial Analyst
The Supply Chain Finance Manager plays a critical role in driving financial performance, cost efficiency, and strategic decision‑making across the end‑to‑end supply chain. This role partners closely with Procurement, Operations, Accounting, Co‑Manufacturing, and cross‑functional business leaders to support budgeting, standard costing, capital evaluations, and ongoing performance management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Financial Strategy & Performance Management
- Develop and execute financial strategies that enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and improve profitability.
- Analyze financial risks, identify areas for improvement, and provide actionable recommendations to optimize supply chain financial performance.
- Monitor actual results versus budget and forecasts; identify key variances and recommend corrective actions as needed.
- Prepare and deliver monthly executive updates, including financial insights, variance explanations, and forward‑looking implications.
- Budgeting, Forecasting & Standard Costing
- Lead the end‑to‑end Product Cost budgeting process, gathering inputs and aligning with cross‑functional partners.
- Own the annual Standard Cost setting process in partnership with Accounting
- Collaborate with Procurement to forecast ingredient and commodity costs
- Conduct discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis and develop recommendations for proposed supply chain capital investments.
- Serve as the primary Finance partner to the Co‑Manufacturing (CoMan) team, inclusive of driving pricing automation
- Review and validate CoMan pricing relative to internal expectations.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with financial policies by implementing best practices and standardized financial processes across CoMans and cross‑functional teams.
- Prepare regular financial reports, dashboards, and presentations on supply chain financial performance.
- Support the monthly development of Market Update materials for review with Executive Leadership Team (ELT)
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure, track, and improve supply chain financial health.
- Support the Supply Chain Productivity team through validation of project savings & identification of new cost‑saving opportunities.
- Identify and drive process improvements to streamline operations and enhance financial processes.
- General Cost Accounting knowledge
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel (Advanced knowledge), required
- Working knowledge of Power BI and Microsoft D365, a plus
- Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
- Highly attentive to details;
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, face‑paced work environment
- Bachelor’s Degree, required
- Minimum 6+ years progressive professional experience in Finance and/or Accounting
- CPG experience, preferred;
Supply Chain experience in a Finance capacity, highly preferred - Experience with financial reporting and internal controls in a CPG and/or manufacturing environment
- Experience with ERP systems (i.e., SAP/TM1), required
