The organization works closely with homeowners, investors, and loan servicers to ensure smooth loan management and to provide assistance when challenges arise.
Job DescriptionThe Mortgage Specialist will manage post-closing loan documentation, assist homeowners with mortgage questions or delinquencies, and serve as a key liaison between internal teams and external partners. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive homeowner situations professionally. This is a part-time, in-office position (Tuesday–Thursday, 8AM–5PM).
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and organize loan files, ensuring documentation is complete and accurate.
- Serve as a primary contact for homeowners regarding mortgage inquiries or challenges.
- Coordinate with loan servicers and internal teams to resolve post-closing and delinquency issues.
- Prepare reports and track loan portfolio performance.
- Assemble documents for loan sales and investor reviews, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- 1–2 years’ experience in mortgage servicing, loan administration, or collections preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 and Excel; ability to review loan documents preferred.
- Experience working with diverse communities is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license required for occasional offsite meetings.
- Fully in-office role; parking available.
