Mortgage Loan Originator – Sunflower Bank, N.A. – Denver, CO

Sunflower Bank is seeking a full‑time Mortgage Loan Originator to support our growth at our Denver, CO location. This is a fully commissioned position with a draw. Details of the commission plan will be presented at time of offer.

• Develop leads and originate mortgage loans through branches, realtors, builders, and respond to referrals from branch personnel and others.
• Interview mortgage loan applicants and take loan applications.
• Send applicant files to processors in the centralized loan support area and assist in obtaining additional data when requested by processors.
• Cross‑sell all bank products and services.

• Prior loan origination experience required.
• Must have an understanding of mortgage regulations and processes and a knowledge of other bank products and services.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, exercise independent judgment, and comprehend complex instructions.
• Must meet production standards developed by management.

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience; MBA or Master’s Degree preferred.
• 2+ years of lending experience preferred.
• Creativity, flexibility, integrity, and a commitment to customer support are essential.
• Must be able to work autonomously exercising considerable independent judgment.
• Must be able to maintain composure in stressful situations and work flexible hours.
