Director, Credit Risk Administration
First Western is seeking a Director, Credit Risk Administration to join our team. Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity? As a Director, Credit Risk Administration you will play a vital role in helping high-net-worth clients achieve their financial goals. You will work closely with our Credit Administration team to deliver comprehensive solutions that exceed client expectations.
What You Will Do:- Credit Risk Assessment and Measurement – Oversee risk models, credit scoring systems, and portfolio stress testing to ensure accurate risk evaluation and regulatory compliance.
- Regulatory Compliance and Audit Preparation – Maintain adherence to BASEL III, ICFR, and Reg B standards, and lead preparation for external audits and examinations.
- Risk Analytics and Monitoring – Track key risk indicators, covenant compliance, and portfolio performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- DRR Implementation and Early Warning Systems – Refresh credit scores, monitor portfolio migration, and develop early warning processes to identify emerging risks.
- Loan Review Oversight – Direct the loan review process, including One-Up approvals and post-close memo reviews, to maintain credit quality.
- Problem Loan Management – Lead discussions and strategies for problem loans prior to workout, including migration analysis and forecasting.
- Risk Training and Team Leadership – Develop training programs to strengthen risk assessment and compliance, while managing and coaching a small team.

- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Bachelor’s Degree (required)
- 10–15 years progressive experience in credit risk management within banking or financial services, including regulatory compliance and loan review processes (required)
- 0–3 years of management experience preferred
- Competitive compensation package with pay range $134,000 – $228,000 per year
