Position Overview
Dormie Capital Partners is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Analyst & Asset Manager to join our team on a full-time, in-office basis (five days per week) at our Castle Rock headquarters. This role will support both investment underwriting and ongoing asset management across the firm’s portfolio. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of relevant experience, strong financial modeling skills, and a desire to grow within a boutique private equity commercial real estate platform.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Analysis & Underwriting
- Build and maintain financial models for acquisitions, refinancings, dispositions, and hold scenarios
- Analyze operating statements, rent rolls, lease abstracts, and capital plans
- Assist with preparation of investment memoranda and internal deal presentations
- Support due diligence efforts and third-party report review
- Asset Management
- Track property performance versus underwriting and budgets
- Prepare monthly and quarterly asset management reporting
- Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting, and business plan execution
- Coordinate with property managers, leasing teams, lenders, and consultants
- Monitor leasing activity, capital expenditures, and operational KPIs
- Support portfolio-level analysis and reporting
- Assist with lender and investor reporting requirements
- Contribute to process improvements, reporting templates, and internal systems
- Provide ad-hoc analytical support to senior leadership
- Required
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in commercial real estate analysis, asset management, private equity, investment banking, or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Economics, or a related discipline (strongly preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills and financial modeling proficiency
- Solid understanding of commercial real estate fundamentals (NOI, cap rates, IRR, DSCR)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Castle Rock, Colorado
- Preferred
- Experience with value-add or opportunistic real estate strategies
- Exposure to industrial, retail, or office assets
- Familiarity with ARGUS, Yardi, or similar real estate software
- CPA, CFA, or progress toward a designation is a plus
Base salary: $75,000–$85,000, plus a bonus package and benefits commensurate with experience
