Statement of DutiesSummary Of Job Classification:
Supervises and oversees the daily operations of a designated team/employees within the Clerk's Office or court division.
- Supervises the work of assigned staff, including assigning and prioritizing work, providing guidance and coaching, participating in hiring and termination, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Provides input on policy development and updates processes to new rules and legislation.
- Provides internal and external customer service and responds to requests and concerns. Serves as a point of contact and coordinates changes in court operations.
- Prepares court documents and reports. Monitors, reviews, and provides efficient and effective case processing.
- Performs administrative functions including case management data entry, reviewing case entries, providing advanced research on complex cases, processing warrants, and balancing accounts receivable.
- Monitors and schedules juror summons and responds to juror correspondence and requests.
- Identifies and completes projects that strengthen the Court's ability to effectively serve the community. Participates in committee work and management meetings.
- Completes required trainings and attends meetings as requested.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Equivalency:
High School diploma or G.E.D. or additional relevant work experience may be substituted on a year for year basis for the required formal education.
Work Related
Experience:
Three (3) years of experience in court, legal, or administrative services.

Sedentary work – Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, a negligible amount frequently, and/or constantly having to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
