RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

• Seasonal travel assignment

• Patient ratio of 5:1 on night shift

• Work on 6 Med Tele unit with 33 rooms accommodating up to 49 patients

• Some semi-private rooms may be utilized during high census periods

• Use telemetry monitoring equipment and Meditech EMR system

• Perform wound care, occasional bowel programs, and light burn care

• Care for surgical flap patients and spinal cord injury patients with stage 4 wounds requiring surgical intervention

• Partner with burn unit to provide care for low-acuity burn patients

• Required certifications: BLS

• Medical/Surgical nursing background required

• Spinal cord injury experience preferred

• Best suited for RNs who enjoy working on a busy medical floor

• Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 1.5 techs, and 5-6 RNs

• 2-3 positions available
