Position Summary:
Provide high‑standard service excellence to internal and external customers, interact with patients to resolve issues, and support the financial and operational needs of the HCC. Perform patient registration, scheduling, billing, medical record entry, and clerical duties with accuracy and efficiency.

Essential Functions- Interact with patients, visitors and staff in a courteous manner and meet patient needs.
- Schedule and update patient appointments accurately; coordinate patient flow and manage cancellations or reschedules.
- Scan and update electronic medical records, ensuring accurate CPT and ICD‑10 coding.
- Operate telephone, email and face‑to‑face communication; manage messages and provide routine information.
- Generate bills, record collections, process payments and track accounts receivable.
- Maintain environment cleanliness, privacy, and confidentiality in compliance with FERPA and HIPAA.
- Serve as liaison for educational outreach programs and various public, private and university agencies.
- Support the Student Affairs Division through committee participation and program coordination.
- Strong written and verbal communication; proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Basic mathematical skills and ability to adhere to budgets.
- Data analysis (quantitative and qualitative) preferred.
- Capacity to concentrate on details amid interruptions and handle multiple tasks.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; independence and collaboration across departments.
- Associate’s Degree or 2–5 years of customer service experience in a healthcare environment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; basic office equipment operation.
- Typing speed of 40 words per minute.
- Experience with medical billing and coding, including entry of charges and collection tracking.
- 2–5 years of customer service experience in a healthcare setting.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Experience with electronic medical record systems, billing software, and account tracking.
- Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and time‑management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
Onsite 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. with occasional evening shifts; may support student programs throughout the year. Flexible arrangements may be considered.
