Personal Care Worker

Human Touch Home Care is looking for a Personal Care Worker to join our team and help our clients live their most healthy and fulfilling lives at home.

Requirements
  • Provide unskilled personal care services and homemaking services to patients.
  • Attend any unskilled personal care services required by the consumer using the provided Rules and Regulations document.
  • Accompany or drive patients to physicians/clinics.
  • Assist with bathing, skin care, hair care, toileting, dressing, shaving, nail care, mouth care, etc.
  • Perform housekeeping tasks as directed.
  • Make bed, change and launder linens.
  • Wash dishes, prepare meals and grocery shop.
  • Clean stove, kitchen, bathroom and the consumer’s living area and bedroom.
  • Vacuum, sweep, dust, take out trash, run errands as needed, mop floors (ensure floor is dry before leaving).
  • Advise staffing director of requests that cannot be met or of unsafe conditions.
  • Dependable in providing and documenting services on time sheets.
  • Additional responsibilities may be added as appropriate.
Qualifications
  • Minimum high school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret regulations and other documents.
  • Requires personal transportation, valid state‑issued driver’s license, good driving record and auto insurance as required by law.
  • Some experience working with the elderly and frail; training will be provided.
  • Must be able to quickly learn specific software and new applications.
