Nuclear Pharmacist

Overview

Join Siemens Healthineers as a Nuclear Pharmacist in our PETNET Solutions pharmacy network. The position focuses on the production, preparation and dispensing of radiopharmaceuticals for positron emission tomography (PET) imaging. It is a night‑shift role that requires flexibility for alternative night shifts and is located in Knoxville, TN.

• Produce radionuclides, prepare and test radiopharmaceuticals, and dispense them to imaging centers.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, Radiation Safety, Pharmacy laws, corporate policies and applicable federal, state and local authorities.
• Act as pharmacy manager in the absence of the PIC, accountable for personnel actions in the permitted pharmacy area.
• Deliver and assure aseptic techniques, including sterility and pyrogen testing per company SOPs.
• Perform QC procedures using analytical equipment and chemical tests per SOPs.
• Maintain all applicable documents and records.
• Prepare shipment of radioactive materials in accordance with procedure and licensing authority requirements.
• Support operation and maintenance of cyclotron, chemistry modules, QC equipment and associated software.
• Lead multiple non-exempt staff.

• Pharmacy license or ability to obtain one.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interpret and follow complex instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team.
• Strong customer‑relations skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Windows applications.
• Corrected 20/20 vision and ability to pass color‑blind tests (board of pharmacy requirement).

• Ability to handle packages of up to 100 lb.

Min $123,100 – Max $184,660.
