The Specialist, Patient Registration is responsible for facilitating new patient’s transition to Option Care Health services with the goal of delivering a consistent onboarding experience where patients and referral partners feel transition is easy.

• Engages with patient, referral source, sales, pharmacy, and nursing to coordinate discharge and secure nursing and delivery.
• Creates, communicates and obtains all required documentation for new referrals.
• Secures patient’s upfront payment, including assisting patients to find avenues for payment where needed (identifies opportunities and directs patient to financial assistance program).
• Supports ongoing activities needed to ensure clean claims on hold and denial management (follow-up on paperwork where missing).
• Assists Patient Registration Supervisor and Manager with special assignments as needed.

High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Minimum of two years of related experience required.

• Ability to multi-task and support numerous referrals/priorities at one time.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Must be detail-oriented and have a high degree of quality focus.
• High degree of customer service skills required.
• Ability to troubleshoot, problem solve and collaborate with cross-functional team members across sales and operation functions.

• Previous healthcare/medical billing experience preferred.

$18.72–$31.20 per hour
