Senior Medical Science Liaison, Immunology (Dermatology) - Southwest

Join Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine in this field‑based clinical role located in the Southwest territory (Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada (Las Vegas), Utah). The position requires up to 80% travel within the assigned geography.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Medical Science Liaison (Sr. MSL) to provide fair, balanced, and objective scientific information and education to opinion leaders and healthcare professionals. The Sr. MSL will be an established scientific and clinical knowledge lead on current and future J&J Innovative Medicine products for the Immunology (Dermatology) therapeutic area. Responsibilities include building and managing external relationships, developing and maintaining a territory strategic plan, supporting research initiatives, and guiding internal partners while adhering to regulatory and compliance guidelines.

• Develop and maintain a field strategic plan and execute proactive and reactive outreach activities.
• Respond promptly to unsolicited scientific inquiries from HCPs, investigators, and health systems, integrating scientific data into real‑life practice.
• Present data and information appropriately to diverse audiences.
• Leverage knowledge of standards of care and company‑sponsored clinical trials to facilitate external‑internal research communication.
• Engage external investigators and support clinical trial site activities, including initiation and launch meetings.
• Lead or participate in at least one scientific or strategic Immunology project.
• Participate in team calls, trainings, journal clubs, and scientific conferences to stay current on scientific advances.
• Provide administrative support (expense reports, documentation of activities) and collaborate with sales and medical affairs partners.

• Advanced medical degree (Pharm
  
  D, PhD, MD) or NP/PA with +3 years of TA clinical experience.
• Minimum 2 years of MSL experience or equivalent clinical, research, or pharma work experience.
• Strong presentation skills and ability to support 75‑80% travel, including overnight and weekend commitments.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Reside within the assigned Southwest territory.

• Knowledge or experience in Immunology or relevant therapeutic area.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and remote technologies.

The expected base pay range for this position is $137,000 to $235,750. The role is eligible for an annual performance bonus, company car through the Fleet program, and comprehensive health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and retirement plans. Time‑off benefits include vacation, sick time, holiday pay, parental leave, and other standard company programs.
