Play & Learning Specialist (Behavior Technician / RBT)

, we are dedicated to enhancing the lives of children on the autism spectrum. As we strive to innovate and build a better model of care for kids, the role of the Play & Learning Specialist
—also known as a Behavior Technician or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)—becomes paramount.

• Work one-on-one with children aged 2–6 in our clinic, using play to teach new skills and support growth
• Implement therapy plans designed by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) using play-based ABA principles
• Encourage social, communication, and learning skills through engaging activities and routines
• Support and partner with families by sharing updates and celebrating progress
• Participate in ongoing training and supervision to grow your skills and maintain RBT certification

• Strong preference for enrollment in or completion of a degree program (bonus for Child Development, Psychology, or related fields)
• Excitement about working with children; prior experience with kids in any setting (teaching, child care, coaching, etc.) is a plus
• Ability to achieve and maintain RBT certification within first 6 weeks of employment (Soar provides paid training)
• Note:
  
  RBT certification required for CO Springs location
• Reliable transportation to training location and local center; punctuality is essential
• Physical requirements:
  
  ability to sit/kneel on the floor, lift up to 50 lbs., and move quickly to support a child’s needs
• Comfort using computers and tablets for session notes
• Team-oriented mindset and willingness to learn

• $21.50 - $28.50/hour starting pay with regular bonus and promotion opportunities
