This work unit provides comprehensive services and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This work unit’s focus is on providing services and supporting an active learning approach. The work unit is also focused on creating and promoting a safe and healthy environment for individuals supported. This work unit provides 24‑hour treatment services that are in compliance with State/#Federal regulations.

About the PositionWRRC provides a safe, secure, and therapeutic setting for people served. WRRC serves people with co‑occurring diagnoses of intellectual/developmental disabilities (IDD) and mental illness. The position provides evaluation, assessment, and evidence‑based treatment for problematic and socially significant behavior that prevents a person from receiving services from a private provider. The focus of treatment is stabilization, skill acquisition, and development of safe and appropriate behavior through comprehensive treatment planning.
The position also does not have any minimum billable hours requirements, but it does include in‑home training and pengalaman for the individuals served.
Job Duties
- Assessment and Behavior Plan Development and Writing: Complete Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) with Support Services Coordinators and interdisciplinary teams. Ensure compliance with ICF Waiver regulations and focus on decreasing maladaptive behavior and increasing appropriate behavior,ynamically adjusting to individual needs.
- Behavior Services Supervision and Training: Provide ongoing training and oversight to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). May supervise individuals pursuing or holding certification such as RBT, BCBA, or BCaBA. Provide training and guidance to all staff implementing behavior programs.
- Data Analysis: Make clinical decisions based on data collected through behavior interventions and assessments. Collect, graph, and interpret data using electronic health records, computer software, or paper data. Execute comprehensive, continuous analysis.
- Clinical Consultation and Team Meetings: Engage in regular consultation with WRRC teams to ensure appropriate care. Provide and receive feedback regarding behavior concerns, mental health diagnoses,alore Use... etc.
- Other Duties as Assigned: Maintain flexibility to support changing needs of the center and service users, including:
- Staying current on physical management and de‑escalation training.
- Attending training relevant to behavior and psych team members.
- Developing and providing behavior analytic training to WRRC staff.
- Attending Nb relevant meetings within WRRC and with community providers/members.
- Participating in psychiatric appointments/clinics.
- Serving as part of the after‑hours rotation.
Eight (8) years of relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned to this position.
Education and ExperienceA'I combination of related education and/or relevant experience in an occupation related toimwecheduled to Excelence eight (8) years.
Special QualificationsRequired‑BCBA certified, actively enrolled in a BACB verified course sequence program, or able to sit and pass exam within one year of hire. Inability to meet this requirement may result in termination.
Preferred Qualifications- Master's degree from an accredited institution in counseling, psychology, social work, or behavior analysis.
- Nationally certified as a “Board Certified Behavior Analyst” or recognized nationally or licensed by the State Board of Examiners.
- Two (2) years of directly supervised experience developing and implementing behavioral support plans using proven approaches consistent with best practices and research for individuals with developmental disabilities.
