Under the direction of the Laboratory Medical and Administrative Director and the Pathologists, the Billing Specialist holds the primary responsibility of oversight for the following:

You willsendout Pathology testing and billing reconciliation

• You willtest
  
  Clinical Laboratory and billing reconciliation
• You willenter result of all Clinical Pathology ancillary testing
• You will Ordering supplies for Anatomic Pathology, and Morgue areas
• You Simulator be Anatomic Pathology physician advocate
• Youwill Assist staff Pathologists with data gathering and preparation for Tumor Boards and meetings
• You will do administrative and secretarial duties and other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

• Medical Billing Technology Certification preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Course in medical terminology or work experience to produce an equivalent level of expertise
• Five years of clerical office experience.
• Prefer healthcare experience including laboratory and/or pathology knowledge and billing background.
