Senior Director, Head of Field Medical

Responsible for building and leading Neurogene's U.S. Medical Science Liaison (MSL) organization to support gene therapy programs for rare neurological diseases.

• recruit, develop, and coach a high-performing MSL team
• develop and execute the field medical strategy aligned with clinical and organizational goals
• establish the operating model, stakeholder engagement standards, and insight generation processes
• foster scientific relationships with KOLs, investigators, and treatment centers
• and collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Regulatory, and Commercial teams.
• The leader will also oversee external scientific engagement, contribute to organizational learning, ensure compliance, and manage resources and budgets.

• advanced scientific or clinical degree (PharmD, PhD, MD/DO, PA, NP, MPH)
• 10+ years in biopharmaceutical industry with at least 6 years in Medical Affairs leading field teams
• experience in rare disease, neurology, pediatric neurology, gene therapy, or genetic medicine
• demonstrated success in product launch and strategic field medical planning
• strong scientific acumen and leadership skills
