Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months current acute care hospital CT Tech experience. Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
Description:
This is a travel position for a CT Tech. Work hours are from 08:00 to 20:30. The unit has 3 CT scanners, with plans to add a fourth. The staff includes 13 members: 8 full-time, 1 part-time, and 3 per diem. The day shift consists of 1 charge technologist and 4 day technologists. There are also 2 mid-shift technologists and 1 transporter during weekdays.
The equipment includes GE Revolution 512 scanner, GE Evolution 128 scanner, and GE 64 slice scanner. The unit performs various procedures, including stroke, trauma, head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and CT angiography. Candidates with trauma and stroke experience, as well as IV skills, are preferred. A positive attitude, customer service focus, and good communication skills are essential traits. The work environment is fast-paced and requires the ability to multitask and work independently.
This unit is recognized as a Comprehensive Stroke Center of Excellence and a Level 1 Trauma center. It is equipped with advanced technology and close to outdoor recreational areas.
