Food and Beverage Supervisor – Commonwealth Hotels
Join our team at FIRE Restaurant located in The ART hotel Downtown Denver!
We are looking for a Food and Beverage Operations Supervisor responsible for overseeing daily operations across FIRE Restaurant, Lounge, Banquet Events, and In‑Room Dining.

Hourly Range: $24.00 - $25.00 (non‑tipped; tip/service charge exempt)

Why This Role?The Food and Beverage Operations Supervisor leads the daily operations of the Food and Beverage Restaurant, ensuring seamless service, exceptional guest experiences, supervision of the team, coordination with culinary teams, and upholding high standards of presentation and service.

- Supervising daily operations: overseeing the service flow, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Guest experience & service: ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction by addressing concerns, managing special requests, and maintaining service standards.
- Team leadership & training: coaching, training, and mentoring staff; fostering a positive team‑oriented environment.
- Inventory & supplies management: monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and ensuring proper storage to minimize waste.
- Compliance: adhering to health, safety, and sanitation regulations and company policies.
- Financial transactions: assisting with cash handling, reconciling daily sales, and supporting budgeting and cost control.
- Collaboration with other departments: working closely with kitchen staff, hotel management, and event teams to coordinate food service.
- Administrative duties: completing daily logs, banquet checks, and operational reports.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Effective communication in English with guests and staff
- Self‑starting personality and professional appearance
- Willingness to pitch in and assist co‑workers
- Basic supervisory skills: planning, organizing, directing, coaching, training, and disciplining when necessary
- Strong knowledge of food and wine pairing (highly sought after)
