Bartenders at Assembly Hall Bar + Market are responsible for providing libations and offering customized recommendations in our lobby bar, market and lounge area.

Assembly Hall will be an urban, artful and modern addition to the Hyatt Regency Denver, an 1100‑room hotel, located in the heart of downtown across from the Colorado Convention Center.

A new lobby marketplace; a social lounge perfect for grabbing a hand‑crafted espresso, a quick afternoon bite or a glass of wine and appetizers with friends.

The right person should be familiar with the latest in mixology, bar equipment, and sanitation standards, with a focus on maintaining an attractive bar. This position offers opportunity for casual conversation, creativity and allows for building on one’s style and previous bartending experiences. Preferred candidates will have understanding of state and local serving guidelines, previous bartending or bar back experience is required.

This full‑time position requires open availability, must be able to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays. Shift times will vary Monday – Friday; shifts will start between 1 pm – 5 pm and ending times will be between 9:30 pm – 1:30 am, Saturday – Sunday; shifts will start between 10 am – 5 pm and ending times will be between 6:30 pm – 1:30 am.

Qualifications for this position:

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast‑paced environment.
• Refined verbal communication skills.
• Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.
• Two years of previous high‑volume bartending experience required.
• Must demonstrate excellent communications skills.
• This position involves a considerable amount of standing; and the ability to lift, push and carry a moderate amount of weight.

This position is a tipped position with an hourly rate of $16.27/hour. Must be willing to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays.
