Overview

A Denver‑based healthcare group that includes physician practices and surgery centers across the United States is seeking a dynamic HR professional to serve as a People and Culture Business Partner. This role is the primary partner for the Western Region (CO and AZ) and is based in Colorado. It oversees enterprise programs in Rewards & Recognition, Compensation, and Performance Management and provides guidance to the P&C Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the main P&C contact for the Arizona and Western Slope regions.
  • Partner with regional leadership to build leadership capabilities, improve team performance, and strengthen employee engagement and retention.
  • Lead organization‑wide initiatives related to Rewards & Recognition, Compensation, and Performance Management.
  • Oversee compensation strategies and manage the annual year‑end merit process.
  • Collaborate with the P&C Vice President to enhance and maintain compensation and performance systems.
  • Identify leadership skill gaps and coordinate targeted development programs.
  • Design and implement effective training initiatives in partnership with the Senior Vice President of Operations and the Director of People & Culture.
  • Address and resolve employee relations issues by conducting investigations and partnering with local leadership.
  • Analyze trends and recommend proactive strategies to foster a positive work environment.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and development opportunities for the P&C Specialist.
  • Support other P&C projects and initiatives across the organization.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 3+ years of progressive HR experience with a broad understanding of full‑cycle HR, including employee relations, recruitment, performance management, benefits, and compensation. Healthcare industry experience preferred. Thrive in a fast‑paced dynamic team environment, be tech‑savvy across HRIS systems and Microsoft Office, and possess excellent communication skills.
